The ski store opened the doors in 1978 as North Shore Ski Swap at our present location of 1625 Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.
In 1985, North Shore Ski Swap (winter sports) combined with North Shore Sailboard Swap (summer sports).
In 1990 the shop became known as North Shore Ski & Board
In 2003 we opened North Shore Girl at a new location a few blocks away on 1525 Lonsdale Ave.
In 2006, North Shore Girl was moved next door and was ultimately combined to NorthShore Ski & Board.

Over the years, new sports have been added to the mix, we’ve had a chance to test all the latest greatest gear, staff members have come and gone, we’ve met tens of thousands of like-minded actionsports enthusiasts… And in doing so made a ton of friends along the way.
